At FlatCheck Granada we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal data we process, for what purpose and what rights you have, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

2. What data do we process?

We only process the data you voluntarily provide when you contact us (via WhatsApp, email, Instagram or forms), such as your name, contact details, nationality, destination university and the information needed to provide the service (housing preferences, budget, etc.). We do not collect special categories of data or data from minors without the consent of their guardians.

We keep your data for as long as the relationship lasts and, afterwards, for the periods legally required to address any liabilities. When it is no longer necessary, it is securely deleted.

5. Recipients

We do not share your data with third parties except where legally required. We may rely on providers acting as data processors (for example, messaging services such as WhatsApp, email or web hosting), which process the data following our instructions and with the appropriate safeguards. Some providers may be located outside the European Economic Area; in such cases the safeguards provided for by the GDPR apply.

You can exercise at any time your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, as well as withdraw any consent given, by writing to us at flatcheckgranada@gmail.com and indicating the right you wish to exercise. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) if you believe the processing does not comply with the regulations.

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration.

8. Changes

We may update this policy to adapt it to legal or service changes. The version in force will always be the one published on this page.
